7 days and 1,700 kilometers, challenge China's most dangerous route into Tibet! From Lijiang, go deep into southeastern Tibet along the Nujiang Grand Canyon, cross the Bingchacha primitive gravel road, cliff dangerous road and snow mountain pass, pass through the Lisu village, Bingzhongluo peach blossom secrets, Rawu Lake glacier, and reach Lhasa. Face landslides, quicksand slopes and primitive forests throughout the journey, and measure the "last off-road paradise" with wheels.

Trip Plan:

Day1: Lijiang-Weixi (190km)
Go north along the Jinsha River Canyon, pass the Tacheng Yunnan Golden Monkey Reserve, arrive at the Weixi Lisu village, and experience the high mountain roasted tea and fire pit culture.
Day2: Weixi-Bingzhongluo (260km)
Cross the Nujiang Grand Canyon, pass Gongshan County, arrive at Bingzhongluo, where "people and gods live together", and see the first bay of the Nujiang River and the Tibetan village of peach blossom Island.
Day3: Bingzhongluo-Cawarong-Muruo Village (180km)
Officially enter the core section of Bingchacha: pass the Tiger Mouth Cliff Road, the large quicksand danger zone, and cross the V-shaped canyon to reach the Muruo Village Tibetan pastoral area.
Day4: Muruo Village-Zayu (120km)
Cross the Qimala Snow Mountain Pass (4638 meters above sea level), pass through the primeval forest and plateau pastures, and arrive at Zayu, a small border town in southeastern Tibet.
Day5: Zayu-Rawu-Bome (290km)
Travel along the Sangqu River, pass the Demla Pass (4900 meters above sea level), enjoy the reflection of the Rawu Lake glacier, and arrive at Bome, the "South of the Yangtze River in Tibet".
Day6: Bome-Lunang-Nyingchi (230km)
Travel through the Parlung Zangbo River Gorge, cross the Tongmai Natural Bridge, ride horses and shoot arrows in the Lunang Forest, and stay overnight in Nyingchi Town on the banks of the Niyang River.
Day7: Nyingchi-Lhasa (410km)
Ride along the Linla Expressway, cross the Mila Pass (5013 meters above sea level), and finally see the golden roof of the Potala Palace, completing the ultimate ceremony of entering Tibet.

Highlights:

✔ 150km unpaved road in Bingchacha (gravel/wading/cliff section)
✔ 3 snow mountain passes with 4500m+meters above sea level
✔ Diverse ethnic cultures (Lisu/Tibetan/Monba)
✔ Vertical landscape span from Hengduan Mountains to Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Due to traffic development, Bingchacha will be replaced by a new highway one day. Although the new highway is convenient, it lacks the wildness and challenge of the old road. While the original beauty has not faded, follow us!
